Blood is drawn from the patient. Simultaneously, a cream is applied over the scalp to numb it.

The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins the blood, separating its components.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a liquid that’s injected into the blood to promote healing. Blood plasma contains proteins that support cell growth. PRP is injected into the scalp to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss.
PRP treatment can help people with poor hair health. It’s actually quite helpful for early to moderate stages of androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness).
It acts by increasing the mass of hair follicles and ensuring their survival by promoting blood flow to your hair follicles. Overall, it helps arrest hair fall and increase volume of hair.
It takes about 45-60 minutes. It takes 5-10 minutes to draw blood, another 30-40 minutes to process it and 10-15 minutes for injections.
• To begin with, we recommend 4-5 sessions, spaced 3-4 weeks apart to boost hair growth.
• Maintenance spaced out every 6-8 weeks or quarterly can be done thereafter, depending on your needs.
It generally takes 2-4 sessions to see visible results after a PRP hair loss treatment.
You should not expect any “down” time, as you should be able to resume or normal activities. Its a simple walk-in kind of thing or a procedure which can be done during your lunch break from office.
Hair loss is best addressed in a combination of approaches. Following a nutrient rich food plan is key, along with proper supplementation. Hair Care Supplements are often recommended to support healthy hair growth. Judicious use of Minoxidil can also do wonders in the treatment.
Do not use any hair products for at least 6 hours after your treatment. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming , vigorous exercise & intense heat exposure for 2 days after your treatment.
Don’t use unknown hair products for at least 2 days prior to your PRP injections. Keep using what you have already used to be on the safer side. If you smoke or drink, avoid it before the treatment.
NO! Do not touch, press, rub or manipulate the treated area(s) for at least 8 hours after your treatment.
You may safely resume washing the next day.
While PRP is considered safe for most people, it’s not recommended for anyone who has one of the following medical conditions: Hepatitis , HIV or AIDS, any type of blood cancer or serious ailment . People with allergy or scalp infections must treat these problems first before being eligible for PRP.
Don’t worry. Hair shedding is normal after PRP injections. You experience temporary hair loss as the new healthier and thicker hair pushes the older hair shaft. The more hair follicles you have, the more strands of hair will fall, replaced by new hair.
You will notice:
1. Thicker and denser hair in the treated areas.
2. Reversal of balding and thinning.
3. Your receding hairline may begin to grow back in.
4. Hair fall will slow down.
